Why wont an electric golf cart start with new batteries and cables?

An electric golf cart may not start even with new batteries and cables due to a number of factors. First, it's important to check if the batteries are properly connected and the cables are securely tightened. Loose connections can prevent the flow of power to the motor, resulting in a non-starting golf cart. Additionally, the battery terminals may be corroded, which can hinder the transfer of electricity. In this case, cleaning the terminals with a wire brush and applying a terminal protectant can help solve the issue. Another possibility is a faulty solenoid, which controls the flow of electricity from the batteries to the motor. If the solenoid is defective, it may need to be replaced. Finally, it's also worth checking if there is a blown fuse or circuit breaker in the electrical system, as this can disrupt the power supply. If troubleshooting these common issues does not resolve the problem, it may be necessary to consult a professional golf cart technician for further diagnosis and repair.
