How to slow down on electric skateboard?

To slow down on an electric Skateboard, you can use one or a combination of the following methods: 1. Gradually release the throttle: If your electric Skateboard is equipped with a throttle control, start by gradually releasing it to reduce your speed. This will allow the motor to disengage and slow down the Skateboard. 2. Use regenerative braking: Some electric skateboards are equipped with regenerative braking, which converts the kinetic energy into electrical energy to recharge the battery. To slow down using regenerative braking, simply apply gentle pressure on the brake control. 3. Foot braking: If your electric Skateboard does not have a regenerative braking system, you can slow down by using the foot braking technique. To do this, pivot your back foot and place the sole of your shoe on the road or pavement, dragging it behind you to create friction and gradually reduce speed. 4. Lean back: Another technique to slow down on an electric Skateboard is to lean back slightly by shifting your weight towards the back of the board. This will increase the pressure on the wheels, creating drag and reducing your speed. Remember, it is important to practice these braking techniques in a safe and controlled environment to become comfortable with slowing down on an electric Skateboard.
