Rad Runner Plus

If you're looking for an electric bike that can handle all kinds of terrain and provide a comfortable ride, the Rad Runner Plus might be the perfect option for you. As an improved version of the popular Rad Runner 2, this eBike offers upgraded features and design to enhance your riding experience. One standout feature of the Rad Runner Plus is its durable frame. Built to handle even the roughest terrain, this eBike is perfect for riders who want to take their adventures to the next level. Additionally, the Rad Runner Plus comes with front suspension, unlike its predecessor. This means you can enjoy a smoother ride and tackle bumps and uneven surfaces with ease. The Rad Runner Plus is equipped with a powerful 750W motor, allowing for a smooth and fast ride. Whether you're climbing hills or cruising on trails, this eBike can handle it all. The disc-mechanical brakes provide confident and quick stopping power, ensuring your safety on the road. One of the highlights of the Rad Runner Plus is its pedal assist system. With five levels to choose from, you can find the perfect amount of assistance to suit your needs. Whether you want a more conservative ride or need that extra boost to get to work on time, this eBike has you covered. The Rad Runner Plus also offers great traction thanks to its low center of gravity. This means you can ride confidently on a variety of surfaces, knowing that the bike will provide excellent stability. With seven speeds available, you can easily adjust to different terrains and find the right gear for your ride. While the Rad Runner Plus has many positive attributes, there are a few downsides to consider. Some riders find that the bike can feel a bit odd to sit on, which may impact comfort during longer rides. Additionally, while the brakes are good, they have not been significantly improved from earlier versions of the bike. Lastly, the pedals are made of plastic, which may not provide as much grip as other materials. In terms of specifications, the Rad Runner Plus features a unique adjustable high-rise handlebar and a tall seat post, making it adaptable for taller riders. The one-size frame ensures that both shorter and taller riders can feel comfortable on the bike. However, it's worth noting that the lithium Samsung 675 Wh battery has a range of 45 to 50 miles on a single charge under optimal conditions. In typical riding conditions, you can expect a range of around 30 to 35 miles. Overall, the Rad Runner Plus is a top-notch eBike from a well-known and respected company. With its upgraded features, comfortable ride, and ability to handle various terrains, it's a great option for riders looking for a versatile and powerful electric bike.

Bottom Line

All in all, I was impressed with the Rad Runner Plus. It's a significant step up from the Rad Runner 2, and it's a well-rounded ebike that should suit a wide range of riders.  The motor provides good power and the bike handles well, while the range is very respectable.  There are some drawbacks - the weird seat and plastic pedals are an acquired taste - but overall I think this is a very solid ebike.
