Could the Amflow x Avinox eMTB change the game?

June 2026 saw the release of 3 new Amflow bikes, all powered by DJI’s cutting-edge Avinox M2S and M2 motors. By securing exclusive rights to these two motors, Avinox has bypassed the usual growing pains that new market entrants face when competing with legacy eMTB brands.

If last year was a proof of concept, 2026 is the Amflow x Avinox experiment unleashed on the consumer, and it has been met with excellent responses.

Amflow has now split its focus into three distinct markets within the e-bike industry. They hope to target performance purists, everyday users, and all-terrain utility users. Here are the bikes they hope to achieve that with.

The Purist Flagship

For riders whose priority is a bike’s power-to-weight ratio and downhill agility, the flagship Amflow PX series is the way to go. Riders can choose between the standard PX Carbon at $7,999 or the spec-heavy PX Carbon Pro at $10,199.

To keep the bike’s total weight hovering around the hyper-competitive 20 kg zone, Amflow’s engineers made a calculated trade-off. Out went the removable battery, and in came an integrated one. That weight should keep you as nimble as you’d like, both mid-air and riding downhill.

A trademark feature of this series is the 40 adjustable geometry configurations achieved through various movable parts on the bike, so you can customize every aspect of your bike to optimize it.

At the heart of both bikes is a 250W Avinox M2S motor that, at its peak, is rated for 1500W. The motor can generate 150 Nm of torque. This power rating is miles better than the industry average of 85-100 Nm.

The motors run on an integrated 700Wh battery. This capacity is proof that swapping out the removable battery for an integrated one does not result in a drop in range. Both bikes also feature a 2-inch OLED display to keep you informed of what’s happening with your bike at all times.

Both bikes also feature front forks and rear shocks, though the Pro outperforms the standard model in terms of specs. Both models also feature a 10-speed drivetrain, but the Pro has a better cassette and derailleur than the base model.

Universally, riders have loved the nimble ride, the strong motor, and agility mid-air and downhill. However, some users reported that the motor’s excessive strength was a bit of an overkill, although that is remedied by turning down the motor.

The Modular Powerhouse

During the development of the PX, Amflow recognized and chose to address the market gap left by the integrated battery. Without a removable battery, Amflow would be leaving behind apartment dwellers and enduro riders who’d look to swap their dead batteries for a charged one and keep the ride going.

In came the Amflow PR Series. Also available as the Amflow PR Carbon at $4,999 and the PR Carbon Pro at $6,799. These designs are emblematic of Amflow’s philosophy towards daily usability and relative affordability.

Both bikes feature the flagship Avinox M2S motor, which delivers a massive 1500 W of peak power and 150 Nm of torque. The bikes also feature 40 adjustable geometry settings on the frame, a 2-inch OLED display, front forks, and rear shocks. However, these bikes feature a larger 800 Wh removable battery.

Users have consistently appreciated the removable battery and the convenience it brings. They also like the reliable construction of the Avinox/Amflow system. However, the long delivery wait times after the order were a put-off for some users.

The All-Terrain SUV

The most significant pivot for the brand this year was the debut of the Amflow TL Carbon, priced at $ 3,999. This bike was first teased at the Eurobike conference, and its release did not disappoint. The TL Carbon is an all-terrain, full-suspension touring powerhouse. This bike is built for heavy trekking and long-distance rides on multiple terrains.

The dependable Avnox M2 motor powers it, and the motor runs on an 800 Wh removable internal battery. The TL is also compatible with the newly launched 480 Wh external second battery, which serves as a range extender. It is built on a robust full-carbon frame with custom FOX full-suspension tuning; the TL Carbon boasts an astonishing 200kg (440 lbs) total carrying capacity.

By combining highly sophisticated DJI-proprietary motor tech with modular frame geometries and hyper-fast charging, Amflow is banking on riders being willing to pay a premium for integrated ecosystem engineering.

Whether you need a sub-20kg trail scalpel (PX), a flexible daily driver (PR), or a heavy-duty overland explorer (TL), Amflow has ensured that the Avinox drive system has a home in your garage.
