The Compact Foldable
The Ride1Up Portola is a compact, foldable e-bike available in either a 500Wh version for $945 or a 634Wh version for $995. Both versions feature a 750W generic geared hub motor capable of producing 65 Nm of torque. The bikes also feature an 80 mm suspension fork, dual-piston hydraulic brakes, an 8-speed Shimano gear system, alloy fenders, and front & rear lights.
However, the crux of this bike model is its folding capabilities. At either 59 lbs (26 kg) or 61 lbs (27 kg), these bikes aren't the lightest possible, but they fold and haul easily onto a bus, train, or tram when needed. The removable pedals make it that much easier to save space.
The Lightweight Premium
The Ride1Up Roadster V3 is the feature-packed successor to the company's ultra-successful Roadster. The latest version of this iconic bike keeps the sleek, minimalist frame that made the V2 great, while juicing it with a better battery, a more powerful motor, and intui-drive pedal sensors.
Priced at $1395 for the standard rigid edition, or $1495 for the full-suspension version, both versions of the bike feature a 500W motor that can pump out 50 Nm of torque; the whole rig runs on a 360 Wh battery.
This version’s Intui-Drive system is a pedal torque sensor that Ride1Up has incorporated to deliver power smoothly based on how much pedal torque you exert at any given time. The bikes also feature a 100 mm suspension fork, 9-speed microshift gear system, front & rear lights, alloy fenders, a two-tone OLED display, and tires.
The Full-Sized Multi-Utility
The Ride1Up Vorsa is a benchmark in the brand's customizability. The Vorsa is available as either a crossover or step-through frame. The bikes are also available in Lite, Standard, or Fat-Tire models, each with different feature sets.
All the bikes feature a 750 W motor and a 15 Ah Samsung battery that can keep you going for 40-60 miles per full charge. Additionally, the Standard and Fat-Tire versions have rear racks that support higher carrying capacities; both can handle 440 lbs.
The Vorsa ships as a Class 2 but operates as a fully throttled Class 3 s-pedelec that tops out at 28 mph. Combined with the torque sensors in the pedals, this makes for an excellent ride by giving you power only when you need it.
Flagship Touring Mid-Drive
The successor to the Prodigy, the Prodigy V2 is Ride1Up’s latest flagship touring e-bike. It will cost $1795 for the chain drive or $2595 for the carbon belt drive. The bike features a premium Brose TF Sprinter 250 W motor that delivers 90 Nm of torque.
It also features a 504 Wh battery, a 100 mm suspension fork, a MicroShift 9-speed drivetrain, a Gates carbon belt, and a torque sensor. It also features front & rear lights, a 40 lbs-capable rear rack, a Brose integrated controller, and a 1.5-inch LCD TFT display. The frame itself can easily hold at least 300 lbs and comes fitted with Maxxis tires out of the box.
