Tenways Ago X review: all-terrain, hill-climbing e-bike -
The Tenways Ago X, a mid-range e-bike, offers decent performance for a reasonable price and is an apt choice for people seeking a no-nonsense commuting bike. Its downsides include a heavy, wide chassis and a speed limit of 20mph. It features a long drive range due to a powerful battery and has high quality components and design.

Charge XC electric bike review: on and off-road fun -
The Charge XC is a robust and versatile e-bike that is suitable for both on and off-road use. It offers a great balance of value and quality, and comes with several standard accessories. However, its relatively hefty weight could be a drawback for some and it only comes in two sizes.

Pedego Interceptor ebike review: quietly dependable -
The Pedego Interceptor is a well-built and dependable e-bike with a more expensive price point. Despite some of its flaws like the motor not being smooth and the handlebars design, it offers great warranty and battery life. The overall experience is pleasant, but enthusiasts would opt for cheaper and better options elsewhere.

Emu Crossbar review: Simple but stylish at least by electric ... -
The Emu Crossbar is a practical, affordable e-bike, with an easy-to-live-with design and impressive battery range. Its substantial weight may not be to everyone's taste, and the electric assistance might seem basic when compared to high-end models. However, the bike's comfort and generous specifications make it an attractive option for everyday commutes.

Emu Crossbar review: Simple but stylish at least by electric ... -
The Emu Crossbar e-bike is an affordable, hefty bike with a simple design, reliable components, and a comfortable ride. It boasts sizable battery range and a practical daily commute setup but its heavy weight and arguably basic electric assistance may not be for all riders.

I rode the Gocycle G4i folding ebike and it felt like the future - Duncan Bell
The G4i looks a lot more fun and futuristic, but it folds down almost as well as a Brompton, in a matter of seconds.

VanMoof S5 is a slick, turbo-boosted urban ebike that's virtually theft-proof - Duncan Bell
The most notable upgrades are a re-engineered motor that's more powerful and a longer-range battery. I guarantee these will be barely noticeable to most users, as the top speed will still be 15.5mph, and the range was plenty long already.

Flit-16 is a real challenger for Brompton's electric bike crown and £1000 cheaper - Duncan Bell
I think it's quite a good test for an e-bike to ride it up a steep (by London standards) hill, on The Hottest Day Ever, and that's just what I did.
